Thermodynamic Relations for the Entropy and Temperature of Multi-Horizon Black Holes

چکیده
We present some entropy and temperature relations of multi-horizons, even including the “virtual” horizon. These relations are related to the product, division and sum of the entropy and temperature of multi-horizons. We obtain the additional thermodynamic relations of both static and rotating black holes in threeand four-dimensional (A)dS spacetime. Especially, a new dimensionless, charge-independence and T+S+ = T−S−-like relation is presented. This relation does not depend on the mass, electric charge, angular momentum and cosmological constant, as it is always a constant. These relations lead us to obtaining some interesting thermodynamic bounds of entropy and temperature, including the Penrose inequality, which is the first geometrical inequality of black holes. Besides, based on these new relations, one can obtain the first law of thermodynamics and the Smarr relation for all horizons of a black hole.

The phase transition of corrected black hole with f(R) gravity
In this letter, we consider static black hole in f(R) gravity. We take advantage from corrected entropy and temperature and investigate such black hole. Finally, we study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition of corrected black hole with respect to entropy and temperature. Here also, we obtain the heat capacity for the static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity. This calculation help us...
متن کاملEntropy of Extremal Dyonic Black Holes
For extremal charged black holes, the thermodynamic entropy is proportional not to the area but to the mass or charges. This is demonstrated here for dyonic extremal black hole solutions of string theory. It is pointed out that these solutions have zero classical action although the area is nonzero. By combining the general form of the entropy allowed by thermodynamics with recent observations ...
متن کاملEntropy of extremal black holes in two dimensions.
Entropy for two dimensional extremal black holes is computed explicitly in a finite-space formulation of the black hole thermodynamics and is shown to be zero locally. Our results are in conformity with the recent one by Hawking et al in four dimensions. It is known that black holes have temperature and entropy and are therefore amenable to a thermodynamic description. For an asymptotic observe...
متن کاملStatistical Mechanics and Black Hole Thermodynamics
Black holes are thermodynamic objects, but despite recent progress, the ultimate statistical mechanical origin of black hole temperature and entropy remains mysterious. Here I summarize an approach in which the entropy is viewed as arising from “would-be pure gauge” degrees of freedom that become dynamical at the horizon. For the (2+1)-dimensional black hole, these degrees of freedom can be cou...
متن کاملA Note on Thermodynamics of Black Holes in Lovelock Gravity
The Lovelock gravity consists of the dimensionally extended Euler densities. The geometry and horizon structure of black hole solutions could be quite complicated in this gravity, however, we find that some thermodynamic quantities of the black holes like the mass, Hawking temperature and entropy, have simple forms expressed in terms of horizon radius. The case with black hole horizon being a R...
